Rep. Dale Kildee (D-Mich.) endorsed Gen. Wesley Clark for president Saturday, becoming the 18th member of Congress to endorse Clark
<<Goobergunch's note: I only count 16>> and the first Democratic member of the Michigan delegation to announce his support for a presidential candidate.
"He has shown his ability to lead time and time again," Kildee told The Hill Monday. Kildee added that he believes Clark is also the candidate most likely to win.
Kildee said he had expressed his interest in Clark to Rep. Charlie Rangel (D-N.Y.), who arranged for Clark to call Kildee. When the two men spoke on Dec. 22, Kildee told Clark he would endorse him.
