| Would you support a Gore/Clark ticket against Bush/Cheney? |
|
If next month Gore entered the race and announced he was seeking the nomination and would be choosing Clark if he is nominated would you then support that ticket or would you try and push for another ticket?
If he gets the nomination anyway would you vote Nader and give the election to Bush again, or would you vote for the Gore/Clark ticket?

I'd support Leslie Gore and Dick Clark, if that's what it took to rid us of BushCo. :hi:

If there is anybody on this board who would not support anyone but Bush, I think you have lost your way (and maybe your marbles).

But my personal dream team is Kerry/Clark. I'm holding out for Clark, if he doesn't run my second hope would be for Kerry to win the nomination and choose clark as VP. I realize that many DU'ers have issues regarding Kerry but, I think he would win and be a great President. Please don't flame me - my feelings are hurt easily. :P

I don't think we should flame anyone who has a reasonable Democratic choice. I'm really up in the air on my choice. I'm intriqued by Clark. Kerry, Dean, and Graham are possiblities to gain my support. I like Dennis, but I don't like his chances against Bush.
I'd vote for almost anyone over Bush. My worst case scenario is just to not vote.

I would gladly vote for Gore, and I think this time he would be more prepared to deal with the kind of hijinks we saw in the last election!

call himself a Democrat, I won't be supporting him for anything.
He really disappointed me on his recent Crossfire appearance where he refused to associate himself with the Democratic Party.

not for the nomination. I like my choice, Dean. Didn't Gore just announce AGAIN that he won't seek another nomination?

| 13. Wow, not just ONE person who isn't running... |
|
...but TWO! So here we have a DOUBLE hypothetical in a Gore/Clark ticket (and how would Gore explain the failure to put Lieberman on his ticket?) For the general, if this highly unlikely hypothetical were to get the nod, um, yeah. Hell, I'd vote for a Sheen/Streisand ticket over Bush/Cheney (and just for the record, Sheen and Steisand aren't running either, just like Gore and Clark at this point)...
Actually, I have to start thumbing through names of people I know personally, people who are dead, or people who wouldn't qualify according to our Constitution, to find those I WOULDN'T vote for over Bush/Cheney. Any more hypotheticals?
