| Any "stealthy" issues for the 2004 general election? |
|
Really underrated issues that don't get a whole lot of press from the media whores but could have a decent effect....
I was at a meeting where a gentleman brought up Title 9 as well as school construction.
You guys have any good issues that are flying under the radar but could cause a stir?

Young people are concerned about this, and it is likely to hurt Democrats more, given their cozy relationship with the entertainment industry.

Especially in light of Bush's off-the-cuff remarks linking unemployment in technical jobs to rusty job skills rather than offshoring.
Programmers and engineers who heard that were offended, no matter what their political beliefs. "If my skills are so out-of-date" wrote one Freeper, "why did I have to train my replacement so the job could be shipped to India?"
Big, big potential issue. Wise Dem candidates will take note.

3,100,000 lost jobs. Hopefully that represents 3.1 million votes against Shrub.
