pretty professional for a group not technically associated with the candidate and which doesn't have access to huge amounts of money.

It was done through donations and the credit cards of Josh Margulies amd John Hlinko that are the leaders of the group. Josh is a Republican, who worked on Bush's campaign in 2000. John was a Gore supporter.

Who has not declared his party affiliation it makes me wonder. And when one of them worked on Shrubs campaign, that is enough to make me wonder if I would vote for Clark even if he declares and gets the nomination.

ya gotta watch those candidates with crossover appeal... they're so dangerous. just think how dangerous reagan and his "reagan democrats" were to the conservative base. the conservatives were so smart to write reagan off because of his crossover appeal, because he was just too liberal for them. right? or maybe the fact that clark is getting support from both sides is a good sign? i mean, isn't that the whole point? getting people to vote for you, uniting the country, etc? seems pretty good to me.

25. Maybe it is old fashioned to expect to vote for a candidates platform

as opposed to his "cross over" appeal. I guess I could point to all the votes that were lost to the Green party to make the counter-argument, but that is not my concern either. To be honest, anyone that the corporate media would promote as having cross over appeal would probably lose my vote at this point. But you sound like you prefer going after Republicans to vote for your (maybe) candidate then attempting to attract progressive Democrats.

Give me a break, really! Josh and John are brothers-in-law. This may SHOCK YOU, but, some Republicans do NOT like Bush. WOW! Hard to imagine huh? Wonder why. This add is to draft the General. It would be wrong to speak for the General. It is better to get him in the race and then have him speak for himself. Once he announces we will have about 8 million and be able to run ads about the General with him speaking.

I have no doubt that the General will speak when he makes his own ads after Lador Day. Thanks for watching the ad. :)

8. Money

Will Clark have a nest egg of money to get started if he jumps in? It's fine to wait until Labor Day, but he will have to hit the ground running with ads to get his name out there--many people still have never heard of him. He is not as well known as Colin Powell was. I will pledge myself, right here, to endorse him for president if he jumps in. Otherwise, I'm for Howard Dean.

12. Money, no Prob!

He will get in on or about Labor Day.

The money is not a problem. He has support from many people. Some including, Soros, a billionaire. While Soros is limited to donations he can spend as much as he wants smashing others,promoting Clark and doing fundraisers for the General.

Stephens Corperation, the same that backed Clinton, would heavily back Clark as well. To be honest, I think Wesley is better than Clinton, and more likeable then Clinton.
Also, Clark has 500,000 from private donations that could be doubled. I think he is in fine shape.

...with Aaron Brown last night? I almost got the impression that he slipped a little toward the end when he said "when we decide" instead of "if we decide..." that got a wry smile from General Clark and another from Brown.

all of these shows where he knows they are going to ask him if he's going to run? He's creating a buzz. He's getting free air time and getting publicity for the draft Clark websites. Just about every interviewer advertises the draft Clark sites. I have a feeling that if he runs the press will eat him up...in a good way.

"drafting". If he wants it, he needs to say so and jump in there with the rest and let us know where he stands on the issues. Until he does that, I'm not going to spend my time thinking about him running and whether I'll support him in the primary.

If the "draft" is just a marketing ploy, fine, but don't take too long. I don't think Dems want to appear fickle by switching their allegiance at the last second from one preferred candidate to another.

I may actually have liked Clark, but the more this goes on the more I feel like he wants to be Caesar refusing the crown twice before accepting it a third time. He doesn't want to work for the nomination, he wants it handed to him.
