| Did anyone see Jon Stewart hand that repub from the |

RNC his ass last night? It was awesome. I didnt see a post about it so I thought I'd start it. Stewart kept pressing the repub guy (forgot his name) to cite a source for the "Kerry is the 1st most liberal and Edwards is the 4th most liberal" talking point that all the repubs have been citing. Stewart finally had to tell the guy the source and it was a conservative journal/magazine (forgot that name too). Then he chastised the guy for being unable to cite the source. Anyway, it was a pleasure to watch--hope you got to see it.

And did you catch the crowd reaction? Audible boos when the Repub launched into the standard GOP crap, laughter when Jon was TRYING to pin the guy down and he kept avoiding the question, etc.

The Daily Show has become a family show in my house. My teenage sons watch it with us. Last night, they just kept laughing at Jon's antics as the rnc whore kept refusing to answer the question and he tried to explain it in more "simple" terms so the guy would get it.
It was great.

| 5. Why does Jon Stewart not replay parts of Tina Browns interview of Dr Frank |
|
Topic A with Tina Brown reran the July 4 Dr Frank interview this week on CNBC - It was a good show - he is quite reasonable.
Why does the media refuse to ask for Bush's medical records?
Why does Jon Stewart not replay parts of Tina Brown's interview of Dr Frank?

| 6. Bonilla was totally out of his league |
|
I just had to laugh at the guy, with his little "GOP ROCKS" cowboy boots, spewing his rightwing propaganda at Jon Stewart of all people. At least, when Bonilla says he hadn't seen the show before, I can totally believe him. :D

| 7. I think that guy thought Jon would be soft |
|
and honestly I was expecting Jon to let him off easy after trying to get him to come up with the source. Seeing him actually start chastising the guy was simply great.
