They said "adding to the murkiness" of Kerry's service is the fact that some of the Swift Boat Liars praised Kerry's record in the past.

I guess it's not a controversy if they said, "It's BS!" It's got to make it "murky".

8. I didn't think it was that bad ...

basically made the smear vets look like disgruntled idiots. Tapper was obviously bending over backwards to appear fair - but I thought it was a plus for the good guys.

The best was Jon Stewart on the Daily Show (which has more people watching than Nightline, doesn't it?). He eviserated the ad. It was AWESOME!
