So I sent this email to the Editor in Chief as well as the Public Editor (for whatever it may or may not be worth):
Hi. I may be mistaken, but I don't think that I've ever read a word about the Project for the New American Century (PNAC) in the Oregonian.
Here's a nice article from the Carnegie Endowment about PNAC and how the US came to be involved in the calamity now unknown as the war in Iraq:
