WTF?

An obscure biblical reference as a headline for us to feel good about being heros to the poor little squalid dirty natives? Gosh I feel better about myself already.

I think it's just plain wrong. What's wrong with "much needed food delivered in air drops?" or some variation thereon?

1. I would say it's spin

But it's probably just ridiculous media sensationalism. They have a longstanding bad habit of being corny and over-the-top to attract attention. Of course, it's all still labeled under "The media fucking sucks", so, as usual, I have no point really.

2. media is necessary!

unfortunately our western media has been perverted....they are, plainly, criminally run organizations.
example: the cbc radio news was covering the upcoming anniversary of the big power blackout and the newscaster said that hillary clinton, for one, blamed canada for the mess at the time! that's not how i recall it. both cnn and foxnews were blaming canada for it, vociferously, and i recall the ny mayor blomberg saying that....but if clinton did, it would be big surprise, as she doesn't hate canada, or resent canada's refusal to get involved in goofy iwaq war etc.

3. The media is absolutely necessary!

They're supposed to be the 4th Estate. The problem is that they're not, and it's led us to being where we are today.
