| Mike Malloy brought me to tears tonight |
|
His last segment was on the torture story and how American doctors are involved. I wish I could communicate to you how powerful his rant was. His voice was so full of anger, pain and sorrow.
His statements were so powerful and painful to hear, yet it was sort of a relief to hear someone else say many of the same things I've been saying to my friends and family. What have we become? What on earth have the Iraqis done to us? How could we have let our country become just like the Nazis? Where is the AMA on this? Where is the media? Why are we talking about the swift boat assholes? I know I'm not doing Mike justice here, please try to listen if you can. Does he archive his shows?

I was against the Iraq war before we went in, and screamed to my Senators, Congressman, and white house to not do this. I begged my representatives NOT TO GIVE AWAY THEIR AUTHORITY TO DECLARE WAR, AS THE CONSTITUTION IS WRITTEN! They did not listen. They were too busy looking at the polls, not what was right.

I wrote my Reps, I ranted and raved at everyone i could. But I still hang my head in shame. I am ashamed of my country right now.
