I've noticed that years after the fact, media types will state matter of factly that such-and-such a thing that happened ten or twenty years ago was scandalous or dirty politics, but if you go back and see what they were saying at the time, it's like "they both do it", "no way to tell which side is telling the truth" kind of horse hockey.

Cowards.
