In one new commercial, an announcer says Mr. Bush and Congress have plans for "a fairer, simpler tax code," a reduction of the nation's "dependence on foreign energy" and "incentives to create jobs."
In another commercial, Mr. Bush personally reprises his message that the nation is overcoming the devastation wrought by the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and goes on to promise: "During the next four years, we'll spread ownership and opportunity. We need to make our economy more job-friendly to keep American jobs here in America."
In a third, an announcer says Mr. Bush and Congress have a plan to "lower health care costs," "keep doctors in their communities" and provide "every eligible child with health coverage."<snip>
In one new commercial, Mr. Kerry looks into the camera and says, "The fundamental choice in this election is between a president who will fight for the middle class, and a president who sides with the special interests in this country." He goes on to declare that it is time to end loopholes that reward companies that "ship jobs overseas, to "get health care costs under control" and to "end America's dependence on Middle East oil."<snip>
