"The Associated Press is drunk, seeing double. Gone are the days when the press protected the public by informing it of the facts in all cases. Now their lot in life is to protect corporations and uphold the government that helps those corporations along. During the last administration, conservatives felt as if they were being slighted by the "liberal media" when it came to coverage of Bill Clinton's affairs. However loudly they still chirp those same inane lines, there can be no doubt that today's media like to cuddle up and get warm in Dubya's lap, and that's about the extent of the Fourth Estate's approach to its Constitutional responsibilities."
