| Halliburton craps all over America's soldiers, while Cheney laughs |
|
NBC Nightly News reported tonight that the company contracted to provide our brave soldiers in Iraq with hot meals...can no longer do so. The company is apparently now only willing to serve our troops sandwiches, day and night. Why? Well according to the company they are running way short of money because the company that contracted them to provide the meals has refused to pay them the 87 million dollars they owe. Who is this company that refuses to pay? HALLIBURTON. That's right Halliburton contracted a company to provide warm food to our troops, then didn't pay the company. Because of this the company is running short of funds. As a former Marine with service in Kosovo and Sierra Leone, I can tell you that a hot meal means a hell of alot to a soldier who is far away from home and in a dangerous foriegn country, (especially in Kosovo which is a miserable, cold, wet, place). In Iraq a hot meal means even more because of the extreme danger our soldiers face every day, dangers that made Kosovo and Sierra Leone pale by comparison. Meanwhile the fat moron Dick Cheney sits at home eating five steaks and drinking down a glass of bacon grease, and trying to figure out a desperate way to defeat the vastly superior John Kerry. But don't expect pathetic Cheney apologists like Mary Matlin to come to the aid of America's troops. Matlin is too busy being a lame Cheney Lackey.

your right on target my friend. They probably cook lobster every night...take one bite and throw the whole thing out. Meanwhile soldiers are eating PBJ and drinking water...complete BS.

by U.S. troops in poorly armored Humvees . . . and families are buying Kevlar vests to send to their family members serving in Iraq.
I was thinking that we should have bake sales all over the country to by body armor for the soldiers. Might not get much money for that cause, but would demonstrate how they are being shit on by Bush/Cheney and Co.
Any comment?

My daughter (who voted for the first time in local elections last year, Young Dem, alternate on the platform committee at the Bufalo YD Convention, et al., first female president of the United State ... but perhaps I'm getting ahead of myself) and I had that in mind when we got the idea.
I think it would really point up how sorry this bunch of sorry shitfaces are for sending Guard troops over there w/out adequate gear. Not to mention inadequate pay, not wanting to extend healthcare to National Guard troops, etc, etc, etc . . . :hurts:
