Laugh if you will, but I found a cauldron of Clear Channel haters in the various AI groups. They all have several threads about how they hate them and what can they do. The problem is they have not selected an organized approach to do anything. I think I can tap into this mega letter writing force (PETA backed down, that is power). This group is extremely diverse and from all political walks of life. I would like to guide them without indicating a liberal agenda. I know there are some that would work with me on this. What I need is suggestions to gain acceptance with this diverse group.
What are they mad about? Turns out that Clear channel is trying to corner the concert market with ridiculous ticket prices to make up for their exorbitant charges. If you don't tour with them, they don't play your music. They also want to start producing instant live concert albums that you can buy immediately after the concert, where they would again get a nice cut of the action. Since most artists make their money from touring, this is one step closer to insolvency for musical groups. Also, they are very big on not playing music requested, but music that surveys well, but the only music that can survey well is music they put on their list. It is just one more way of controlling the public.
So here we have people who are not shy in making their demands met, who are willing to write, e-mail and vote on polls, but are a Little unsure what to do.
I do not want to send then to some sites because it would turn away the more conservatives and I want to capture all of them. I was thinking of putting up my own filtered site.
Do any of you have suggestions?
Thanks,

| 1. Sounds like a good idea. |

Though, I think that it is fairly obvious that Clear Channel has been trying to corner every single market they can.

Aparently Clear Channel does not want to play their music because they don't want to pay what Clear channel is asking. Clear Channel is being sued by an independent tour producer because if an artist does not agree to sign with Clear Channel as their tour management, their music stops dead in the water and is not on any of their playlists.
I really need suggestions., I have a few thoughsand angry women who love to write angry letters. All they need is direction. so far they have a lot of threads about complaining to their congressman, but I don't think that is the only answer.
Thanks,

Let me warn you though: Don't expect any lazzi-faire types to go along with it. I wouldn't expect libertarians to be of much use either. Otherwise, even some genuine Bush-bot freepers would join us on this one.
