Wages Lagging Behind Prices
Inflation has been outpacing the rise in salaries for the first time in 14 years. Higher health costs add to strain on workers’ wallets.

For the first time in 14 years, the American work force has in effect gotten an across-the-board pay cut.

The growth in wages in 2004 and the first two months of this year trailed the growth in prices, compounding the squeeze from higher housing, energy and other costs.

The result is that people such as Victor Romero are finding themselves falling behind.

The 49-year-old film-set laborer had to ditch his $1,100-a-month Los Angeles apartment because his rent kept rising while his pay of $24.50 an hour stayed flat.

Bush has no concern of any average worker. He was born a kid of privilege and only identifies with them. In his elitist view, he believes those who aren't as rich as he is are lazy. As if W ever worked a day in his life.

3. The President before FDR, after the stock market crash

said: "No one is starving in America". He was very wrong. This was the Great Depression and he couldn't see that millions were starving or on the verge of starving. He did nothing to help those suffering. This same thing applies to b*sh. He thinks everything is fine because he and his family are filthy rich. His party wont get reelected.
