2. I think the documentary "Who Killed the Electric Car" mentioned that they did.

But I can't find it anywhere. I was in a strong discussion with someone about bailing out GM and they challenged me when I said the GM got funding from the government for development of the EV1. I can't seem to prove it.

I am curious why you want me to explain why I asked the question.
