http://uk.reuters.com/article/oilRpt/idUKL2084506220070920FRANKFURT, Sept 20 (Reuters) - Solon (SOOG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research) has been contracted by Denmark's Scan Energy to build a 44-megawatt solar power plant in Spain, the German solar module maker said on Thursday, expanding its presence in the fast-growing market.
Industry sources value the deal at about 250 million euros ($349.7 million).
This is Solon's biggest single project so far, it said, adding that it has already acquired projects in Spain with a total output of 60 MW.
Construction for the latest project, located in Ayora in the province of Valencia, is due to start in the second half of next year, it said.
