disgust, sorrow and shame for what is happening in this country. Decades of fighting for the right of wolves to reclaim their rightful place in the wild, gone with the a flourish of the pen from this f-ing bastard.

crazy man on mission. He used to run a float outfit in Stanley. Now he just spends his time on the anti-wolf crusade. All his time. Sadly, Ron was my father's buddy in High School. They don't agree on the Wolf issue but he insists on discussing it everytime they meet. With that said I have to pass along one of the funniest stories I've heard in awhile..
Several months ago Ron was flying to Nevada for an anti-wolf conference. He flew out of boise on a small Horizon prop plane. Ron started up a conversation with the fellow sitting next to him and in a matter of minutes it was plainly obvious that he'd met his sworn enemy. His row-mate was the USFS scientist responsible for wolf reintroduction in Idaho. At which point, Ron became violent and was subdued by a male attendant and the USFS scientist. The pilot then returned to Boise where Ron spent a night in city lockup. He's since been banned from flying....
Hope somebody enjoys that..I did. :)
Long live the wolves!

| 4. I used to live 8 miles from the Bitterroot Mts in N Idaho |

I've fly fished all the rivers up ther (Selway, Lochsa, Kelly, St Joe, etc). I've climbed, camped, hiked, and wandered around the woods up there. You can add up my total time in the woods of Idaho and it would be in the months.
I have seen dozens of bears, large (30 plus) herds of elk, coyotes, herds of moose, mule deer, whitetail deer, marmots, mice, etc.
I hae never seen one single wolf.
These A-holes are full of it.
