and I found it a very interesting read; I'm curious as to how many others here have read it.
Something New Under the Sun: An Environmental History of the Twentieth-Century World John Robert McNeill (Author), Paul Kennedy (Author) " (Global Century Series)
Apologies in advance if this work is so popular/influential that my question is of the "duh" type; my focus in reading is primarily History, and I came across this while going through a reading list for a history class on "20th-Century World."

didn't you request some book suggestions from us awhile back? If that was you, did you get some good titles?

An interesting economic analysis that predicts that rising oil prices will put a break on globalization.
Thanks for the suggestion!

It was an excellent read (but better for a hotel/trip than for a commute as it's not a physically light book!).
