Is cautiously optimistic, doesn't think the releases will increase in severity because the rods should be cooling.
Major problem with leaks in turbine building is it will probably prevent/interfere with bringing coolant systems back online.
Calculated risk to send workers in - cost/benefit
Salt water - hot salt water very corrosive and leaks may be due to valves stuck open due to corrosion.
Expanded evac probably prompted by duration of event and additional caution on part of govt.
Overall a calming interview with a knowledgeable person not in the pocket of nuclear industry.
