Ex-Mitsubishi Motors president arrested over fatal accident
YOKOHAMA — Former Mitsubishi Motors Corp President Katsuhiko Kawasoe was arrested Thursday for alleged professional negligence resulting in a fatal accident involving a Mitsubishi truck in Yamaguchi Prefecture in 2002, police said.

Yamaguchi and Kanagawa prefectural police are also set to arrest five other former executives over the accident, in which the truck driver died, suspecting it was caused by a defect in the vehicle's clutch system.
