What are the odds? Re - Handover of Saddam "to the Iraqis"

I wonder, what are the odds that, in the "handover" of Saddam Hussein to the Iraqis for trial, that "some batch of angry radicals" just happen to do another "attack" on American forces/officials.

And this "attack" just happens to "assassinate" Saddam, thereby preventing him from testifying about all the ties to this administration (and Bush41's and Reagan's) had with building him up?

Sounds fairly likely to me.
