They sound up front, I only question them based on how I heard of them -- through right-wing Vote.com .
www.DivestTerror.org
Mission Statement Throughout our history, Americans have risen to the challenge of defending our beloved country and our liberty. Following the 9/11 attacks, however, most Americans felt powerless. Powerless to respond to the tragic attacks in New York and Washington, DC. Powerless to express meaningfully their outrage. And powerless to help defeat terrorism. What we did not realize -- until now -- was that each and every one of us actually can play a pivotal role in winning the War on Terror. How? By demanding that our public and private pensions plans, college endowments, individual retirement account managers, 401(k) plans, and other investment vehicles exploit the leverage represented by investments in publicly traded companies that operate in terrorist-sponsoring states. In a unified front, we should all be saying "This is my money and it will not go to support terror." DivestTerror.org is a nationwide campaign aimed at some 400 public companies worldwide that are providing revenues, technology and moral cover to governments that sponsor terrorism.

It is affiliated with the Center for Security Policy (centerforsecuritypolicy.org) and part of Frank Gaffney's umbrella groups.
Frank Gaffney is a Perle croney and a former aide to Senator "Scoop" Jackson along with much of the rest of the Neo-con philosophical core.
In other background he is a member of AVOT (Americans for Victory Over Terrorism) which is a partisan group which has long attempted to link opposition to Bush with support for Terrorism.
I would not trust anything this site posts. I suspect there is far more partisan movement behind it than actual concern over terrorism.

I was suspicious based on the fact that I heard about it through Vote.com. I posted on that board before I found DU. I became frightened when one of the Neo-cons seemed to stalk me through multiple topics. It really creeped me out. I was afraid a bunch of Neo-con hit men would be pulling up to my front door any minute. I kept my blinds shut, kept my car doors locked and made sure no one was parked out in front of my house before I went out the door.
