7. did you see their little animated graphics last night?

We were flipping channels to hear about the North Korean missile and saw Cnn had a little animated graphic and so did Faux. They were small, in the lower corner of the screen. CNN's showed a map with Korea shooting the missile while two ships were in the Pacific and shot it down. Faux showed a map with Korea shooting the missile and showed the missile coming across the ocean hitting California! We were like WTF!


Faux isn't going to change. They get too much pleasure out of keeping people afraid and on edge.

Fox has made billions jerking the chain of the RW. If the Murdochs thought
there was money in it, they would run the "Mao Zedong Hour", a la Network

Hell, if Rupe Murdoch thought it would make him money, he would offer a show to Amy Goodman.

You have to admire that kind of amoral greed, where a guy who makes nice-nice with the Chinese
has the right-wingers (mostly) thinking he's 'with them'.

RM is just doing what William Randolph Hearst used to do. The difference is, Murdoch's smarter
at making money than Hearst was. Hearst was more interested in throwing his weight around.

Hearst would ~never~ have let himself be parodied in one of his own papers like Murdoch
was parodied on The Simpsons (too self important). Murdoch was happy to do it, The Simpsons
have made him a trainload of money.
