Anyone here recall the AWB debate at the Kerry forum in 2004?

I know benEzra does as I remember him being there. In my years on the internet, what took place there that summer was one of the best debates on the AWB and gun control I've ever been involved in and I think it's a shame that all those posts in the gun sub-forum discussing the renewal of the AWB, as supported by Kerry, were not saved in some form and could be reposted here. The debate on both sides of the issue was for the most part was quite civil and very informative.

usually its with first-timers to the gun forum (or non-regulars)....but between the two "waring" sides here, never...it ends up boiling down to a emotional slugfest- who can get the best one liner emotional message
