I would recommend that pro gun students and potential faculty take tape recorders to interviews. I would not be surprised if interviewers ask potential students and faculty if they are pro gun or own guns. I could see Texas having to pass laws to ensure discrimination against gun owners does not occur.

You may not like to admit it, but the history is that a majority of both students and university officials stood in the way of integration at Ole Miss and other schools, right along with George Wallace.

There is no shortage of news footage of students screaming at blacks and throwing bricks and anything they could get their hands on. Even though you and the other gun control fans agree with them on this issue, students and staff are not always right about what's best for the school or the country.

Please continue to clutch your pearls and sigh repeatedly. This is another gun control issue you've already lost on.

The university then proceeded to try to deny Mitchell unemployment compensation by claiming, unsuccessfully, that he was fired for misconduct. A hearing officer found against the University of Kentucky and in favor of Mitchell.

The car was parked on a public street, not on university property. So far UK keeps losing in court, but their legal department is funded by the taxpayer, sooooooooo, the strategy is simple. A grad student will run out of money for the legal fight before the university will.

Kentucky Revised Statutes section 27.020 holds, in part, that “No person or organization, public or private, shall prohibit” a concealed carry permit holder from transporting a firearm in his vehicle in accordance with law.
