We both know that Palestinians can only have rights in an independent Palestinian state...they can't have any at all under the Occupation(the fact that they have none now under the status quo proves it).

8. I don't support Hamas, and Hamas isn't the issue.

Also, I'm for a two-state solution(which can only be workable if Palestinians get the entire West Bank, without settlements to break up its contiguity, since non-contiguous states are doomed to failure). I'm not an anti-Zionist. It's just that I don't believe that Israel as a country is the innocent victim in this dispute OR that Palestinians are Jew-hating monsters. Both sides have done right, and wrong, and both nationalities are mainly made up of decent human beings.

The best way to fight Hamas is to end the Occupation and actually let the people of Palestine HAVE self-determination. That is also the best way to protect LGBT rights(constantly braying about Israeli being better on this serves no purpose, and puts Palestinian LGBT people at risk of being called collaborators if anyone finds out their sexuality). Also, you can't assume that all LGBT people take Israel's side against the Palestinians...even in Israel. Does the name Ezra Nawi mean anything to you? If not, you should look him up and see what he stands for.

And you, personally, DO sound right-wing on this issue because of your utter disdain of Palestinians and your gleeful support of everything the right-wing Israeli government does to make their lives worse. And you mock anyone who shows any sympathy towards Palestinians and the conditions they are made to live under, none of which are necessary for Israel's security or survival.

Have you EVER spoken against the Occupation? OR the settlements? Have you ever shown any sympathy towards Palestinians who have been subjected to brutality by the IDF? If you have, I've never seen that in this thread.

It's right-wing to defend the Occupation. It's right-wing to oppose the creation of a Palestinian state(since it goes without saying that Palestinians can never have freedom or any hope until it ends.) It's right-wing to say the settlements are no big deal. OK?

There can't be a progressive case for any of those things.
