Prime Minister Ariel Sharon is to hold a cabinet
debate on a new plan by Vice Prime Minister Ehud
Olmert for a unilateral withdrawal from most of
the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
Olmert, who also holds the communications and industry
and trade portfolios, unveiled his plan for a
pullout of the territories and some neighborhoods on the
outskirts of Jerusalem in an interview Friday to the
mass-circulation Yedioth Aharonoth daily newspaper.

Other right-wing ministers slammed the proposal
Sunday, with Deputy Defense Minister Ze'ev Boim
telling Israel Radio that he opposed the
proposal and doubted that Olmert had
coordinated his stance with Sharon. Boim said,
however, that he would not be surprised if the
two had similar views.
Sheetrit said Sunday that he opposed Olmert's
plan on the grounds that such a measure would
constitute an escape, not a solution, Israel
Radio reported.

http://www.haaretzdaily.com/hasen/spages/369236.htmlThis story has been surfacing since yesterday in Israel. Together with the Palestinian Terrorists' cease-fire effort by Mubarak, this looks like something might click. However, this also is a time that terrorists choose to strike. Hope the IDF is well on the alert.
