Five dead, including Islamic Jihad militant, in helicopter attack December 25, 2003 - Associated Press
GAZA CITY, Gaza Strip (AP) -- Five people, including a senior Islamic militant, are dead after an Israeli helicopter strike in the Gaza Strip. Witnesses and hospital officials say in addition to the five who died, 12 others were wounded. Israel's army says it was targeting a senior Islamic Jihad militant who was planning a deadly attack in the coming days. Islamic Jihad says the commander of the group's military wing, Muklit Hamid, was killed. And hospital officials say another Islamic Jihad militant was also among the dead. It's the first such attack by Israel in more than two months. Residents say an Israeli Apache helicopter fired missiles at a car driving between Gaza City and a refugee camp. "moral equivalency" and therefore it does not matter much; anyway it's the targets' faults for being there when they were rocketed instead of someplace else and by themselves. They ought to have known their time was up and taken appropriate measures to reduce the bloodshed. Get it?

they are really innocent then like any civilian deaths in a war, I feel sad that their leadership wanted war so badly that they didn't mind this outcome. On the other hand, I'd question how "innocent" people are riding with high leadership of a military command really are. Perhaps yes, perhaps no.
