Statistically you would expect 11.9% of the WTC victims to be Jewish. Especially, since many of the companies in the WTC were either Jewish owned or industries like insurance, finance and banking that employ a high percentage of Jews.

Statically for there only to be 3 confirmed Jewish victims out of 3000 is an indication that something is not right.

He was talking of Israelis, not of victims who were "confirmed Jewish". A lot of people who were Jewish died on 9/11, but only a small number were "confirmed Israelis".

I'm not sure if the percentage of Israeli victims relative to Israeli employees differed significantly from that of other national groups.

Whether or not such warnings, if they indeed occured, were effective, seems irrelevant to me, though. The Haaretz article simply indicated that there MIGHT have been foreknowledge on the part of people who MIGHT have had connections to Israeli intelligence, that's all, and it's only speculation.

However, considering that these buildings were the financial centers for the US and the world, you would expect to lose at least a few Israelis. There are probably more Israelis in NYC then any place else in the US.

Furthermore, the totals for ALL nationalities were massively skewed at first. In Germany, we were hearing 120 Germans dead, 400 British, 90 Japanese - all radically revised downward (about 10 Germans, two dozen British, etc.) So this wasn't only true of the initially exaggerated total of Israeli casualties.

Now the Odigo warning is very interesting - among many other indicators that foreknowledge was widespread, among foreign intel agencies, prominents who were warned not to fly, even Joes on the street - of many nationalities.

Why can't this Odigo thing be mentioned without going straight to the nasty mythologies about mass warnings to Jews (and no one else) and "low body counts"?
