| So what's the deal with the Oil in Iraq? |
|
I heard the U.S. and British sponsored a resolution to privatize it in an article I read last month, but I haven't found any actual resolution in evidence. Anybody get an update on that or any other pertinent info?

I believe it was on NPR (sorry don't remember when,) but I do recall that NPR recently (in the last couple of weeks) did a piece saying that they had backed off that plan because...get this...IT WOULD PUT TOO MANY IRAQIS OUT OF WORK!!! Bushco seems to feel that the high unemployment in Iraq (about 50% last I heard) is contibuting to the unrest there. Gee ya think? Too bad he isn't concerned with the high unemployment here. Since I recently found out that I will soon be joining the ranks of the unemployed maybe it is time more americans get a little restless. Then maybe we would get some attention. Though seeing how bushco operates he is likely to respond by locking us up. Do I sound bitter? Nah...

"The Bushwacker" called up the president of Goodrich Aerospace (Jim Baker )and had him close down the shop I work at. It seems Bush told americans to stop flying as many Boeing 737's as possible so he can shut down my shop!!! I'm serious! Now I will be unemployed in one month! I work on assembling and calibrating MD-9D fuel nozzles for the APU's on aircraft. Now that people listened to Bush and stopped flying these aircraft I don't receive anymore orders from Honeywell and in turn I lose my job. This is an outrage! My head hurts from all this, I need a beer....... maybe someone can get me an Oxycodone.

that you are going to register to vote. And I do trust that you have figured out who you should NOT vote for.

to turn on the faucet and keep it to themselves. My worst fears have finally been realized. Through the process of second-guessing, it appears that
a) they don't want any help from the UN. Bush made that clear on Monday.
b) they don't want Iraqis to run Iraq
c) they want to be in control of Iraq, indefinitely.
d) they feel they have enough troops. Rumsfeld has said that many times.
e) they believe we have enough money to do this. Rumsfeld has said on several occasions that a $500 billion deficit is not a lot. We should be able to handle it.
f) is he right or wrong?
