2. What purpose would be served by faking the crash of

flight 93 and making it look like a shoot-down?

Is the idea that this is evidence for a no-planes at the WTC and
the Pentagon theory?

If I remember right, the book "True Lies" said there was no
jet fuel in the ground water under the crater.

3. They tried to make it look like a crash

The 'scar' on the ground has the shape of an airplane; supposedly it nose dived and disappeared into the ground.
And for the time being there is at least the illusion of consensus about that scenario.
