I am elated if Bunning goes down. But, as a 12 yr old growing up in Philly, and a huge Phillies fan, I remember exactly where I was when on Father's Day 1964 he pitched a perfect game against the Mets. He is the father of many children. Then, unfortunately, he and Chris Short could not win one stinking game when the Phillies blew a 6 1/2 game lead with 12 games to go with a ten game losing streak and lost the penant to the Cardinals by one game. Bunning is yet another example of why sports stars should stay the hell out of politics.
