| I want to see MoveOn.org take on the voting machine fraud issue |
|
this has to become a big issue or we will never win another election. I just wrote to them and will send them money if they will take it on.

Moveon and other groups have produced the best ads, did the best organizing and had the clearest sense of what we've been up against during this campaign. We have to buy ad time, if necessary, to get this issue out there. There is NO HOPE for this country if we don't make this a household issue, and get people INCENSED about it. We can forget talking about 2008 or whatever else you want to set your sights on just to stay sane -- THIS is the issue.

The Republicans ALL went to work on Kerry right after he took charge of the nomination process. They had their talking points prepared - Kerry was a flip-flopper & a political opportunist.
MoveOn ran some great ads, but they were all about different subjects - deficit, Iraq war, etc. We needed them to give us one consistent theme to hopefully define Bush. We never got that one consistent theme out there.
