| Looking for the Enron Tapes |
|
I am looking for audio files of the Enron tapes. Most of the weblinks i've found point to: enrontapes.com unfortunately, this site no longer exists or is down or something. I found a few at the sonomish utitlities site but am really looking for the audio of the "grandma Millie tapes" so i can post it on my site so that this evidence never fades away. If you know where i can find some or all of these tapes please post:)
p.s. interesting note about the grandma millie tapes. All the references in the MSM, (CBS, Cnn, etc.) only quote part of the grandma millie reference. From cbs: Employee 1: "All the money you guys stole from those poor grandmothers in California?
Employee 2: "Yeah, Grandma Millie man.
Employee 1: "Yeah, now she wants her f-----g money back for all the power you've charged right up, jammed right up her a—for f-----g $250 a megawatt hour."
Actual transcript(tompaine): "Yeah, Grandma Millie, man. But she's the one who couldn't figure out how to (expletive) vote on the butterfly ballot." ---- See the diff? The trader implies a direct link between Bush siezing power and Enron raping California. Too incriminating for CBS and Cnn to publish?
Anyway, I've found the transcripts, but not the audio. Help would be appreciated.

..also searching FERC online library couldnt open the wav files directly as they seemed to be non-self-extracting zip files...so this search has the wav files zipped and need to be downloaded then unzipped to play; http://elibrary.ferc.gov/idmws/Doc_Family.asp?document_id=4274980( entries -4024 , -4026 and -4027)
