"People are reacting to gas prices - a direct result of golden boy Clinton not building one single refinery in 8 years, nor one single nuke plant, nor having any kind of domestic energy policy that made sense."

Hmmm, never knew that Clinton was in the refinery and nuclear power game. So let's get this straight, that tricky Bill Clinton is actually responsible for Bush's exponential ratings collapse? And he did it by not building oil refineries?

A Republican saying that today. Now what if Bill had proposed building Nuke plants and oil refineries back when his world-class stewardshuip was managing oil at $23.00/bbl. I can only imagine the outrage of the same Republicans screaming about "nationalizing our energy future". Of course, they'd have been wrong and it might have been the right thing to do, but that is beside the point. No way could any such bill have gotten passed by these privitization-happy Republicans who controlled both the House and Senate.

And I think that his inability to foretell the future directly lead to the backed up drive thru line at the Taco Bell last night that made my husband late getting home. If Clinton had foreseen the amount of developement that was going to occur in our area, he could have planned to have the Taco Bell built earlier and also had it supplemented with a KFC and maybe a Jack In The Box by now so that everybody in our area wouldn't be trying to get dinner from the only fast food place in town on the same night, causing my husband to be late.
