I would like to see a direct comparison of how much the US deemed worthy of spending to bomb that country, vs how much we are sending to help with the quake (50 million).
Google is not being my friend on this - I can only find total costs for the "war on terror", always including Iraq. This, however, is 7 billion dollars a month.
7 billion.
Maybe I'm just a wacko liberal commie, but it seems to me that if we have that kind og change to throw around, we could have found a more peaceful, constructive way to spend it.
