GOP touts fundraiser, perpetuating "moran" humor
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) lists on its website a fundraiser for Rep. Vito Fossella (R-N.Y.) on Saturday at the matinee showing of “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” on Broadway.

Only problem: The site refers to it as “The Putnam County Spelling Bell.” Oops.

The $1,500-per-person fundraiser ($2,500 per couple) gets you into the show, at Broadway’s Circle in the Square Theater, and a reception afterward at Sardi’s, that venerable favorite among people who watch the Tony Awards.
