He could be on the list too. Could that Grand Jury room be bugged? This is the NSA we're talking about, the secret super-spooks. :scared:
The reason internal spying is so insidious is because it can be done for political purposes only. It has been done before. That's why the FISA law was enacted in the first place.
A good outcome of this revelation is that now all members of congress and all senators have to be assuming their communications are not secure. They will from now on, be suspicious because there will never be an accounting of names of those who've been spied upon by the chimp. No "records" kept without FISA.
Even the most freeperish of them might feel betrayed. Some of them might even be pissed off about it enough to DO SOMETHING!! :grr:
We'll see.

And the main reason IMHO that * did not want the NY Times to ever publish this information. I IMHO believe will lose a vast majority of his supporters in Congress if any political names are on the list.
