| Secret talks going on within Bush Administration ? |
|
Are we about to see some big changes in this Administration? The polls have just about sunk to the level where there is no one left but Focus on the Family. There is widespread dislike for their policies and the direction we are going. So, who will be replaced? Will Dick Cheney step down? Will Chertoff be replaced? Will Lieberman be asked to replace Rumsfeld, as a gesture of "bi-partisanship"? Are we just days ahead of some big changes in this Administration?

| 2. The rumors are that cheney will step down |
|
but I think this is all part of a plan so bush will choose mccain to replace cheney, as payback for kissing bush's ass during the campaign

| 6. Why would Lieberman agree to that |
|
He holds a safe Senate seat. There is less than 3 more years of a Bush Presidency and Iraq is in such a mess that being Secretary of Defense would be a horendous job. His party would lose a seat in the Senate and we potentially could be blamed for Lieberman's failure to get Iraq under control. What does Lieberman get out of it?

| 7. Lieberman is a true believer in military imperialism in general... |
|
...and in the Iraqi invasion-- hell, the invasion of ANY islamic country-- in particular. He might do it just to put his money where his mouth is.

| 10. Good point - I hope not |

Though I wonder if his current opponent in the primaries would be favored in November.

Some big IF's . . . .
If a * insider actually grows a conscience. . . (Let's say one gets terminally ill, and wants to TRY and make peace ... somehow) If a "MSM" source, a "tried and true" bu$hie, can't take it any more, and blows his kingdom sky high . . . If * thinks he already has his bases covered, and has enough power . . . .
We'll see.
