to continue with the point made by killerbush,it eerily reminded of the 1988 televised dust up between Daddy Bush and Dan Rather about Iran-Contra,in which Bush was confrontational, rude, petulant, and refused to answer the questions. America just loved it because it "proved" the Bush wasn't a wimp, the charge against him at the time,an what better way to show how tough you are by beating up on a news anchor. Apparently,Junior leaned something from dad and that is how to berate a newsman. Tactic will work well with the Neanderthal crowd who has and will always hate the "liberal media". I wouldn't be surprised one damn bit if that exchange was scripted between Bush and Rove beforehand to call on her, knowing she would not be like the other spineless weasels who pass for the WH press corps, and try to make it look like the poor media is beating up on helpless George.
I saw the story on CNN about Abdul Rahmam (it seems that is everyones name over there) who is being considered for death because he became a Christian. I thought that we "expelled" the Taliban fundamentalist when we invaded in 2001? Guess not!!! Where are the Taliban in this country such as Robertson,Falwell,William Donahue,Dobson, and the rest of the fundies who cry and crow about the sanctity of life? I haven't heard a word from them. You would think that the mere fact that a man who used to be a "heathen" a former Muslim converting to Christianity would be a cause celebre for these people. Guess not!!! Now the Afghans are trying to get out of this by declaring Mr,Rahman as having a mental problem. In other words he's nuts because he's converted. Afghanistan is becoming just as big a mess as is Iraq. The poppy crop is flourishing, the Taliban are active on the Pakistan border, and Bin Laden is probably still hiding there. Can't Bush do anything right? Wait,I know the answer to that question.
