Any guesses as to why this was the stupidest sign I've seen in a while?

... when the voting age was 21. Amendment 26 to the constitution lowers the voting age from 21 to 18. That was enacted in 1971.

In any case, if you're talking about Presidental elections, even with a voting age of 18, you could have to wait until you're 21 before you can vote on the President.

And besides, can't immigrants vote anyway (absentee) ??? I'm British ex-pat and can vote in British elections still.
