You know, the anti-gay, anti-choice, anti-science self-proclaimed deciples of peace & love guru Jesus Christ, who believe God himself appointed georgie to kill off all the evil non-believers world-over while the USA-Kigdom of God-theocracy is established here in the homeland, people.

Will they show up at the polls in droves this November, all rabid about something, as they supposedly did in 04? What do you think will be the triggering bell?

Perhaps you mean that their religious views differ from yours? Or that they differ from your god's?

Well, see, that's the thing about religion. Given five believers whose god consigns some people to hell, there will be, on average, five different views on who are so damned. They're still all religious.

Jimmy Carter was a very religious president.

George Bush doesn't go to church, except for photo-op special occassions, but public perception is that he's a very religious born-again Christian.

When that man is finally out of D.C., I'll bet anything he never steps foot in a church again.

Saying that ReTHUGS are "more religious" is more perception than reality. More Rovian brainwashing than truth.

The part about where she paints Nelson out as more liberal than Kennedy and Schumer is particularly funny.

Then there's the part where they ask her what her faith is and she says "Christian." LOLOL. That's almost as funny as bush calling the Greeks Grecians.

Her answers to questions and her comments are so simplistic. Kinda' reminds me of Ann Coulter.

They're rabid and zealous enough to go to all lengths to bring us all "into the fold." Since many of us think of the RRR as a cult, they've got their work cut out for them.

but it's hard to tell where our "base" is. The religious right, on the other hand, is concentrated in a relative few states, and those states are not the battleground for this year's elections. The only election where they could really GOTV and have an effect is Tennessee senate, and that is a vulnerable GOP seat already.
