| His Petulance just revealed he'll skip Ann Richards' funeral |
|
He said he'll have 'representative' go.
He was also struggling to say *anything* kind about her.
What a small, small man.
(in his presser on teevee right now)

WAS MY GOVERNOR. Even today, the thought of her passing still makes my eyes mist a tad. What a wonderful, wonderful human being. She was the first publicly elected official to be denied office because of kkkarl rove and bushco* election hijinks.

He doesn't have the nerve to go anywhere he might meet resistance. And I think most friends of Governor Richards would not be too friendly to Georgie.

Supposedly, Cheney had planned to attend the Wellstone memorial, but, as the official story went, decided not to because the security members of the public who were attending would have to go through would be so inconvenient and delay things (yeah, like when did Cheney ever worry about the us common folk being inconvenienced?). Rumor had it that the Wellstone family had made it clear he wasn't welcome.

Not only would he not be welcome, he wouldn't be the center of attention, & we all know how much he hates that.

|
Read yesterday in her NYT obituary that she referred to him that way early in her campaign against him for TX governor and received quite a bit of criticism for it. Seems to me Ann had him figured out before the rest of us did.
So that's what I'm calling him from now on.

I'd love to be able to see it. The greats should be there...Willie Nelson, Mollie Ivans, Jim Hightower...the list goes on.
