#1. Re-institute the fairness doctrine! As long as the corporate media controls the message, we are fucked. Very few American citizens are as aware or involved as us here at D.U. Most people care more about "dancing with the stars" than their country. You can't really blame them, they are tired from working several jobs to make ends meet. Force the corporate masters to give them "Fair and balanced" news coverage and watch them wake up!
#2. I listened to some asshole on corporate controlled media say that the Democrats have NO convictions. Give them subpoena power, make the Fascists testify under oath, and we will have plenty of convictions.
#3. Don't play nice! We have been fucked by these assholes long enough. Investigate! Incriminate! Try and convict the bastards that have committed treason against our country and our constitution. convict the traitors and hang them right next to Saddam! Bush, Cheney, Rumfilled, Rove, the whole traitorous cabal. Let this be a lesson to all who try to destroy our country that treason will NOT be tolerated and the punishment is death.
#4. Eliminate corporate "person-hood". corporations are NOT people! When the people who run corporations are held accountable for their actions, when they are thrown into jail instead of having a tax deductible "fine" that is less than the profit they made from their crime as punishment, we may see a little accountability. Example: Want to stop illegal immigration? Start throwing the people who hire the "cheap labor" immigrants in jail. I guarantee that the "immigration problem" will dry up faster than you can say "Ho-la, como estad". As for the lie that "Americans won't do that work", try paying a living wage and see how many "Americans" will do it.
#5. Stop making EVERYTHING a crime! In California, you are a criminal if you don't fasten your seatbelt. You will soon be a criminal for talking on your cell phone in your car. We are shipping thousands of Prison people out of state at the cost of millions of dollars because California can't house them.
When the jails are full, the laws are wrong! It costs something in the neighborhood of $65,000.00 per year to incarcerate a California prisoner. How many of them, if they could earn $65,000.00 per year at a real job, would be in prison?
Enough for one night.
