We have ALL been lied to regarding this war, and now regarding the 'surge'.

More funds have been requested, more troops will be needed, lots more troops, despite what we've been told.
The length of time we were told to expect the 'surge' to last was 3-6 months, not the 18-20+ months which is a more realistic figure.
Per the NIE, the Iraqi troops aren't even showing up. When is enough enough?
This is a civil war; what the hell are we doing there, and why would any politician support this?
How do we get it through their thick skulls that the time to get out is now?
I am so sick of being lied to; why aren't they?
