Iowa Poll...actual Headline: Iowa Dems Favor Clinton, Edwards;
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 09:17 PM by SaveElmer
In fact, Hillary leads among all Iowa Democrats 25.5 to 23.2...MoE +/- 3.3

Among likely caucus goes Edwards led 35.2 to 28.5 with a large MoE of +/- 5.5

Making both results within the margin of error statistically...

1. Neither leads either. It's too close to say anyone leads. GO EDWARDS!!
Sorry Hillary ;)

Love you too. But I'm pulling for Edwards at this point.

2. Just wanted to present it the way the polling group did...
They did not say Edwards was "pulling away" as it has been characterized here...

4. They said Iowa Dems favor Clinton?
Edited on Tue Apr-03-07 09:24 PM by Kerry2008
Seems to close to call if you ask me. Neither has any sort of lead according to this poll. Even though I'd give the slight edge to Edwards. Not because of this poll, but because of the incredible job Edwards has done in Iowa in building support and maintaining support.

5. I think Edwards has been at or near the top in Iowa for some time...
Doesn't really appear to me he is pulling away...maintaining his lead may be a more appropriate characterization...

Actually it seems like Obama is not really gaining traction in either place...slipped into third in New Hampshire...

6. Yeah, I don't see Obama gaining any ground in those two states.
Which I find some what surprising. Edwards and Clinton seem to be dominating both, with the slight edge in Iowa to Edwards and the slight edge in New Hampshire to Clinton. Very close. Just the way I like it ;)

Isn't politics fun? :)

3. I think Hillary will be the nominee
and I don't have as much of a problem with that as many seem to.

I think a Hillary/Edwards (or would that be Clinton/Edwards) ticket would be fine.

Although my first choice would be Gore/?. Gore/Edwards would rock. There's a unique appeal to a Gore/Clinton ticket too.

I like Obama, but I don't see him getting past the experience thing.

My $.02. At this point in time.

7. Let's hope not.
I'm one of the Iowans keeping Edwards ahead.

11. I'd be fine with Edwards. Nothing against Edwards here.
Keep up the good work. Its just that I would take joy in Edwards winning rather than Hillary losing. But Edwards/? would be fine with me (as long as its not Edwards/lieberman, but I'm pretty sure there's not a chance in hell of that happening).

12. O God! I hope so! I miss those great old conventions.
Remember how some big state would be about to put a candidate over the top and then you'd hear something like this, "Madame Chairman, the Great State of Ohio, home of the Buckeyes and Coach Woody Hayes......passes!"

And then some place like Guam would finally decide the nominee!!
