2. Alternate Headline: EDWARDS STILL TRAILS CLINTON IN SC
wow. it's amazing that he can actually be losing to her in his own backyard, eh?

Plus... if SC doubts the electability of the person who is STILL leading the polls there, then I guess they're either damn dumb or they equally negative expectations of the candidates who are losing to Clinton.

PS thanks for the awesome biased headline... that was very Fox News of you.

12. The story doesn't even mention him. For all we know, he's on a trajectory to pass Hil and Barak.

21. I'm just sick of the Edwards people constant Hillary bashing
and would like to warn them that every single Edwards post headline could say something about haircuts or grotesque mansions if they don't knock it off.

23. OK, but I wasn't bashing Hillary. I was pointing out that Edwards isn't mentioned in the article.

Is it OK for me to point that out?

16. No, I believe that we've collectively proven of late that there is, without reservation, no "wrong"
Everything's fair when my candidate's impeded, and any action I've taken was pre-emptive self-defense.

In fact, the concept of "wrong" is wrong, unless, of course, it pertains to something done by YOU...

Must you ruin EVERYTHING?

15. I'm glad her lead is fading
Not because I am anti-Hillary per se, but I want to see who will come out on top when a real battle ensues. This is the kind of battle we need to ensure that our candidate is ready to deal with the dirty tricks of the sleazy good-for-nothing Republicans.

17. "embroiled in a fight for her political life"
Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 02:27 AM by calteacherguy
That sums it up nicely. But the hull has already ruptured...there is nothing that can be done now for her but follow the inevitable path to her destiny.

She is the Titanic of political figures.

And the band played on...

22. Finally, SC Democrats wake up and rediscover the serious question of electability!
Edited on Sat Dec-01-07 10:09 AM by ClarkUSA
It's about time, now that Hillary doesn't look so inevitable anymore and her campaign has been anything but flawless.

Oh, and her nosediving early voting states' poll numbers help. :-)

Thanks for the pick-me-up reports from the field, Carrieyazel. It's good to know Resistance Is Not Futile.

for Clinton, more than two-thirds of those questioned said Clinton, the front-runner in national polls, is the candidate most likely to win the Democratic nomination. And half of those surveyed say the senator from New York is the toughest among the Democratic White House hopefuls in standing up to Republicans.

These are two of the polls used to make the "Sinking ASSumption", & some info from *Zogby.
(*Current methods questionable)

Clemson University Palmetto Poll

The survey of 900 registered voters in the state, 450 in each party, found 28 percent of Republicans are undecided and 49 percent of Democrats are undecided. The survey was conducted Nov. 14-27.

CNN/WMUR New Hampshire Presidential Poll

The poll was conducted between Wednesday and Sunday. Pollsters surveyed 389 New Hampshire residents who said they'll vote in the state's 2008 Democratic primary.

The poll has a sampling error of plus or minus 5 percentage points.
