Every day, there's a new "leader" who's gonna save the party....first rudy (until all the scandals broke), then fred (until he was more boring that even the repugs could take), now huckabee with his parole problem.
These guys are absolutely pathetic. And if we can't beat the lucky "winner", there really is no hope for us.

Zogby, Gallup, Roper, Rasmussen and all exit polls everywhere miss the mark, underestimating Cheney's popularity by 44%.

You never know what their "game plan" is. Never let your gaurd down. Many a sports team loses a game because they fo into a game figuring they possibly cannot lose to the other side.

Although we are practically being handed the election because of their weak field, our refusal to play any of offense and very little defense doesn't bode well.

| 8. The possibilities in the upcoming election scare the bejeebers out of me. |
|
First, if the press decide they want someone other than a Dem, we're gonna get someone other than a Dem. You gotta know that.
Second, there's the stolen-election gambit. Puggies got a million ways to steal or block votes. The Dems still aren't taking any of this shit seriously, from Diebold to felons lists to proportional voting in CA. I can't figure if they just got their heads up their asses or if they're all terrorized or if they're all complicit, but not enough is being done.
We could wake up one Wednesday in November and discover that we been had once more, with President-Elect Whoever-They-Want all ready to take over the reins.

of the same for the next four or eight years, even if they had a good candidate. Americans like change, and the pendulum always swings back.

If the Repubs don't use state wedge issues to bring out a vote, as in the past, there may be a real opportunity to make broad gains in Congress, as well as our likely presidential success.

|
when the MSM gives the pukes pass after pass after pass and the Dems are pilloried for every misstep. Obama indoctrinated as a radical Muslim "Manchurian Candidate" in elementary school? C'mon!!! Any MSM outlet repeating that crap should have been shuttered and their editors put on trial for stupidity.
The good news is that the Dems and Independents comprise well over 65% of the electorate and how many Independents do you think are going to vote for more of the same? It ain't gonna happen.
There aren't many Senate seats up for grab this time around, but we can send a clear signal to the GOP/RNC and DLC/DNC by kicking out a buttload of Republic incumbents and DINOs and installing thinking, independent, non-corporate candidates in as many seats of both houses as possible.
It does matter that we get a Democrat into the WH. It does matter which Democrat we get into the WH. It matters far more that we send a clear signal via our picks for the House and Senate that THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN.

Bible-thumping science-denial, a delusional system featuring the benign nature of corporations, a healthy flexibility when it comes to dealing with any issue of truth, flaming xenophobia, and above all, a God-given certainty that they're right in all things.

Our leaders (including those running for president) are too weak to stand up to the bullies in the WH.
THAT'S pretty foolish.
