| Delegate counts - O-25 C-23 E-19. It ain't over! |
|
If I am correct, these are the counts of candidate delegates from Iowa and NH (not including superdelegates who may change their minds)
Iowa - O-16, C-14, E-15 NH - O-9, C-9, E-4
So Obama - 25 delegates = 37.3% Clinton - 23 delegates = 34.3% Edwards - 19 delegates = 28.4%
A heck of a race still to come as we get to states with larger and larger delegate counts! A long slog ahead and I look forward to hearing what they have to say.

| 7. Depends on the circumstances. |
|
If it looks like it might be a brokered convention, he waits and either tries to play Kingmaker at the convention, or uses the delegates he has as a foundation to try to win on the second ballot.

|
anyway, statistically, we're looking at a 3-way race and very long way to get to 2025.

| 10. I don't think most people can comprehend a real race to the finish.... |
|
we are all so media dominated we think it has to be over soon. Super delegates are even wishy washy.

| 14. See, I tried to tell ya the race was not over and even if hrc had |
|
lost tonight it still would not be over.....but new hampshire has spoke and hrc won.
So now it is on to michigan and the state may have little technical relevance to the nomination( no delegate count), although Michigan might have symbolic value.Yes, and if the vote count shows hrc winning in Michigan it will be a great feeling, plus the media will also report the winner....I am not forgetting Nevada on the 19th. HRC should win this with all the union support and then it is on to South Caroline and could be a real nail baiter since hrc's win tonight. Then it's on to Florida. This state too will not have delegates counted but will have much symbolic value heading into the week before feb 5th when hrc wins the voting. This will give hrc a great boost for those states on the 5th
